The Pitch Identity: pitch it, film it, take it to Hollywood
This was a new and exciting competition identity aimed at young filmmakers, and included web material, exhibition material and supporting literature. The object of the pitch was to make a short film with professional production support worth in excess of £20,000, and to receive advice from top industry professionals. The winners were flown to Hollywood, where they were introduced to film industry professionals such as producer Ralph Winter (X-Men, Fantastic Four), who watched the films and gave hints and tips on how the winners' skills could be taken to the next level.
